Want to make a difference in a child’s life? Join the Children’s Ministry Team as we help kids to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Each week, over 70 volunteers work together in their unique roles to create a loving environment for our kids. People on our team serve in many different roles such as leading small groups, presenting Bible stories, teaching, a/v, crafts, games, and more. Join us as we help kids know Jesus personally and follow Him the rest of their lives.

How do I get involved?

1. Inquire

Find out more about DCBC Kids and areas you can serve here. Applicants must have regularly attended DCBC for at least six months.

2. Apply

For Sunday & Friday ministries, please submit an online Volunteer Application Form. Someone will contact you about getting started in the Volunteer Screening Process. The process includes:

  1. Volunteer Application Form
  2. Informal interview with the Children’s Minister or Coordinator to help you find the best placement
  3. Criminal Background Check (if over 18)

For Special Events, directly contact the event coordinator.

3. Train

Once you have completed the Volunteer Screening Process, you will be ready for Orientation and Hands on Training. This will give you the opportunity to learn the specific responsibilities related to your position in Children’s Ministry.

4. Serve

Once you have completed the online application and orientation, as well as your Hands on Training, you are ready to serve!
